The people pictured will be leaving July 6 for Ruginoasa
Romania. Ruginoasa is a village of 6200 people. The Orthodox
influence is very strong in this village. In 1997 a small
group of Baptists were meeting in a home when the Orthodox
Priest lead a mob of hundreds to attack them as they left
their worship service. The women were drug away by their hair
and the men were kicked and beaten for over an hour. Ruginoasa
and villages like it across Romania need the gospel.
Dr. Lynn McCord from Baton Rouge, Louisiana will be heading
up the Medical Clinic. We will be needing help in collecting
medicines as well as supplies for our children's team. Please
pray for us as we make this trip to the Northeastern part
of Romania.
