Every first Sunday afternoon, the women of FBC gather at 4 pm to grow together in faith and mission, meeting every month except July.
About WMU
Our WMU (Woman's Missionary Union) is part of the Alabama Woman's Missionary Union, which encourages missional living by challenging, equipping, and empowering Alabama Baptists to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

The core values of Alabama Woman's Missionary Union are:
- The saving work of God through His Son, Jesus Christ

Mission Focus
Each Christmas season, our WMU comes together for Operation Christmas Child, packing shoebox gifts filled with love, hope, and the Gospel for children around the world who might otherwise never receive a Christmas gift. Throughout the year, WMU collects monetary donations and shoebox items to prepare for the season, and every summer, kids get to be part of the mission too, packing their own boxes during VBS.
